‘Sculpting Archetypes’ reflects on the origin of an object and strengthens the core of Linde Freya’s practice, in the search for contemporary archetypes that are pronounced in character and revealing the layering of the process. Each work embraces a simplicity and rawness, carried out in carved deep lacquered wood, coinciding in its raw but delicate gesture – within the layers, both in material and thought.
