For the occasion of the project initiated by Dior, where several designers were selected to develop a chair for the group exhibition, shown at Milan Design Week and Design Miami, Linde Freya Tangelder studied through diverse models, all related in different ways to the Medallion Chair XVI.
A new chair arose, a chair that is “sober, simple, with a classic touch”. A subtle reference to the Dior Medallion Chair, translated in the soft rounded shapes and as well in the material choices referring to the original model. The aluminium chair connects timelessness, human touch within a sober form language.
